Today I Called.

This morning I saw a pair of youths going door-to-door down my block. They were skipping houses and peering through windows at the doors they did approach. Last time this happened, I did not call 911.

Today, I called. Because I called when they were in sight, I could give a good description. When I saw them finish the block and turn the corner, I called 911 again and gave an update.

Maybe five minutes later, a squad car rolled by. I may never know if there was any threat in the first place. I hope it was nothing. But if it was something, I did my part.
