Pierre Romel Miller, 20, is charged in Hennepin County District Court with second-degree murder, with bail set at $500,000. He is listed in the criminal complaint as homeless and as being held in the Hennepin County jail on a state Department of Corrections hold.

Authorities linked Miller to the case through fingerprints found on and in Brookins' sport-utility vehicle as well as through cell phone records, according to the complaint.

i would like to say i love Jerry dearly and he was a very special person and there is not enough time in this world that would be enough for those heathens. I have known Jerry almost 20 yrs and i will never forget him. This senseless and pointless violence needs to stop! Once someone is gone we can't have them back. We will never get to hear their voice or hug them again!
