CIS Requested for Assaulting a Bus Driver: Archie Easton

The City attorney and 2nd Precinct are requesting Community Impact Statements (CIS) regarding Archie Easton specifically, or assault generally. You can submit a CIS via e-mail to the 2nd Precinct at 2precinctimpact@ci.minneapolis.mn.us. The submission deadline is February 27th.

Archie Edward Easton Booking PhotoArchie Edward Easton (Date of Birth: n/a) is charged with assault, disorderly conduct, interfering with a transit operator and aggressive solicitation. On January 17, 2009 at the intersection of Central Ave NE and 22nd Ave NE, Archie Edward Easton was arrested after he punched and spit on a Metro Transit Bus Driver who was operating a bus. He also had verbal altercations with other bus riders while arguing with and assaulting the driver, creating a dangerous situation.

If you have observed this person engaging in conduct that negatively impacts our community, please consider writing a community impact statement describing that conduct and how it has impacted you and the neighborhood as a whole.
