I just had a two copper garden trellis's and some yard art (made of copper and brass) stolen from my yard this week. So this is an alert for Audubon area, and really anyone else in NE. Since the items were in the back, and I don't have an alley, I think the thieves were at my garage sale and they noticed the items then. In response I filed a police report online which seemed pretty straight forward. So if you have experienced any thefts or crime, please take the time to file a report (these are none emergency reports) so it gets on record. Marauders hit again.
Marauders hit me again in Audubon. That's twice in as many months. They did not touch my outside storage box at the time they stole my stuff listed in this post, but they did come back this past week and broke into it. Rather than cut the lock, they twisted the Hinge Padlock Hasp in half.
So if you’ve had a break in and something valuable was left...watch out for a second visit.
Time to get a motion activated camera and alarm for the yard I guess.
