Arrest made in NE for Old Colony homicide

July 27, 2010 (MINNEAPOLIS) This afternoon the Minneapolis Police Department announced that an arrest had been made in the homicide/ double shooting that occurred at the Old Colony Gas station last Sunday morning.

At the time of the incident around 3:30 that morning officers in the Fourth Precinct responded to a report of shots fired at the Old Colony gas station at 1624 Washington Avenue North. While officers were on their way to the call it was updated to a shooting. When officers arrived they found three adult male victims of an apparent shooting outside the business.

EMS transported all three victims to HCMC for treatment where one male later died, one was admitted with a life threatening gunshot wound and one male sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

This morning at approximately 4 a.m. officers from the Minneapolis Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Ryedelle Reginald Loving (Date of birth 3-10-1989) at 315 Buchanan Street Northeast. He has since been booked into the Hennepin County Jail for PC Murder. The case against Loving will be presented to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for consideration of criminal charges.

The investigation into this case is ongoing at this point.
