June 11, 2010 (MINNEAPOLIS) This afternoon the Minneapolis Police Department is seeking information regarding a possible kidnapping that occurred this morning in south Minneapolis. Just after 8:40 this morning patrol officers in the Third Precinct responded to the 4600 block of East 36th Street in response to a 911 call that a citizen had possibly witnessed a teenaged male being abducted off the street. The credible witness described seeing a vehicle drive up to the teenaged victim on the street, screech to halt and two teenaged male suspects jump out. It appeared that the victim was then physically assaulted before being forced into the car which quickly left the area. The vehicle is described as older white rusty car with four doors. The license plate provided by the witness is NHC-970 which list to a 1989 Nissan Maxima. The suspects are described as 4 black males ages 13 to 19 dressed in urban street wear. The victim is described as a white male teenager 14 or 15 years old. If anyone has information about this case, the car or its location you are asked to call the Minneapolis Police Department by dialing 911 or by calling 612-673-2345. Posting note. Normally I would consider this alert not in our area, but the car and people could be in somewhere in NE or SE. |
