Early morning death in Northeast determined to be suspicious

Shortly before 4:00 a.m. this morning, officers from the Second Precinct, along with fire and ambulance, were dispatched to a one down call in the 300 block of 8th St SE. When officers and EMS personnel arrived, they found a deceased adult male lying in the snow.

Minneapolis Police Homicide Investigators are on scene trying to determine the circumstances that led up to the victim’s death. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Minneapolis Police Department tip line at 612-692-tips (8477).

(Victim identification and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.)
